2019 Annual Giving Campaign

St. Peter’s has been serving the Old Ellicott City community in Christ’s name for 176 years. In the past two years, our members have been called upon to respond to two catastrophic floods which devastated our neighbors and friends. God has been faithful in providing support to our outreach efforts in times of crisis and in times of peace. This year we launched our Pete’s Packs food ministry to assist the children of Veterans Elementary whose families struggle with food insecurity by supplying food for them to take home each weekend. We may be a little church, but we have a big heart!

This year’s theme for our Annual Giving Campaign is Transforming Generosity. We officially kick off our campaign on All Saints Sunday, November 4th with a single mass at 9:15 am followed by a brunch and small group discussions. Our campaign will run through the month of November and conclude on the first Sunday of Advent, December 2nd, with a single mass at 9:15 am followed by a New Year’s Party - yes, Advent is the “New Years Day” of the Church.

Our ministries cannot happen without your generous financial support! Download a pledge form by clicking here and bring it to St. Peter’s during our campaign for a blessing. You can also set up a recurring pledge online with our secure giving partner by clicking here.

2019 Draft Expense Budget

As you consider your pledge for 2019, please review the draft expense budget by clicking here. Your vestry wants you to be informed on what it takes to keep St. Peter’s ministries going at the level to which you have become accustomed. Pledges are to provide 85 - 90% of the income a church needs to operate. Your vestry is taking this to heart and is committed to a balanced budget in 2019.
