Group Counseling for Flood Trauma
St. Peter’s is partnering with Suburban Crossroads Counseling to offer group counseling for those in our community who are struggling with anxiety and PTSD resulting from the catastrophic floods in 2016 and 2018. If you are having difficulty sleeping, experience panic when it rains, having nightmares - these are all signs of post-trauma stress. Come together with neighbors who understand to talk and try on therapeutic modalities to heal your brain from this experience.
Groups will be limited to 10 participants and run for 4 weeks on Wednesdays - January 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2019.
Medicaid and major insurance accepted, but NOBODY will be turned away for lack of insurance. St. Peter’s has funds from donations to assist with scholarships and co-pays.
