Our nation is approaching a mid-term election deeply divided. These divisions have turned to violence - both in words and actions. God calls us to remember we are ALL created out of love and are created to reflect divine love. St. Peter’s invites you to a Week of Compline for Peace in our nation beginning on Tuesday, October 30th and ending on election night, November 6th.
Compline is the traditional “night prayer” of ancient monastic Christianity. While it is grounded in the Christian tradition, it draws also from the Jewish scriptures (especially the Psalms). This worship is open to all who need centering, calm and peace.
Come out and enjoy a night of food, music and fun. Enjoy an Italian feast of spaghetti, meatballs, fresh salad, garlic bread and dessert. Have a glass of wine while you relax and listen to music by Tony McGuffin.
There will also be a 50/50 Raffle. It could just be your lucky night!
Ticket price: Adult - $18; children under 12 - Free
